Should I outsource or hire?

Maybe a better question is what don't I pay for when I outsource my bookkeeping?

At first glance Office Outworkz's hourly rate can appear more than you'd pay a full time employee, but what is not included?

  • Forget about "office jenga" trying to squeeze in an extra desk and chair, we have both of those.

  • No dipping into the capital expenditure budget to buy laptops or a desktop computer either, we have those as well, and a couple of snazzy monitors and some other techy stuff that we need to do our job well.

  • Coffee, tea and toilet paper? No, no need to provide those.

  • Someone to run process our payroll and look after our HR needs? No, that's not necessary either.

  • What about breaks, time taken chatting to colleagues, preparing that coffee we talked about? Yes, we do that, but we turn off our time tracking software so you won't pay for them.

  • Holidays, statutory holidays, and annual leave? No, you're only paying for our time when we're working actively on your job.

  • ACC and a KiwiSaver contribution, surely you need those? We do, but, while you pay them for your employees, you won't be paying them for us.

  • Training and development: We take this seriously so we're up to date with software changes or new developments. While you pay to upskill your employees, you benefit from our expertise at no extra cost.

Given an average worker is productive for 60% or less each day, a full time employee is being paid for 40% of unproductive time while at work.

At Office Outworkz we bill you for productive time only, provide detailed time sheets if required and we're tax deductible!

Outsourcing can be a cost effective and efficient means to fill a gap, or a long term strategy to bring skills and experience into your business.

Let's chat about how outsourcing to experienced and dedicated bookkeepers could work in your business.
